CARING FOR YOUR BROGI MAT

CLEANING

For daily cleaning, gently wipe your mat with a damp soft sponge or microfiber cloth.

Printed Rubber Mats: Use water with a small amount of mild soap. Wipe away any remaining soap with a clean, damp cloth, then allow your mat to air dry completely.

Luxe Suede Mats: Mix 1 liter of warm water with 1–2 drops of neutral liquid laundry detergent. Lightly dampen a microfiber cloth or sponge and gently wipe in one direction with the fibers. Wipe away any remaining detergent with a clean, damp cloth, then allow your mat to air dry completely.

For a deeper clean, use the same gentle method across the entire surface. Avoid soaking or submerging your mat in water.

Please avoid using:

  • Harsh cleaners
  • Alcohol sprays or disinfectants
  • Essential oils
  • Products containing heavy oils
  • Abrasive brushes or scrub pads

These products may stain or damage the surface of your mat.

STORAGE

Always allow your mat to air dry completely before rolling it up. Never roll or store your mat while it's still damp, as trapped moisture can cause unwanted odors.

Roll your mat with the practice (printed) side facing outward to help reduce curling.

Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and avoid placing heavy objects on top. Avoid leaving your mat in:

  • Hot cars
  • Direct heat
  • Prolonged sun exposure

Excessive heat can affect both the rubber base and printed surface over time.

HAVE A SUEDE MAT?

Our suede mats are designed for sweaty practices - the grip activates with moisture.

For hot yoga:

  • Practice as normal, or lightly mist the surface before class if you'd like extra grip from the start.
  • Clean using 1–2 drops of neutral liquid laundry detergent diluted in warm water and a soft microfiber cloth.
  • Gently wipe in one direction with the fibers - avoid scrubbing back and forth.
  • Wipe away any remaining detergent with a clean, damp cloth.
  • Lay flat to air dry completely in a well-ventilated area.
  • Avoid soaking the mat or placing heavy weights directly on the suede surface.
